Prior to filling out this form, make sure you have been authorized to consign with Disco Warehouse (DW).
CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT
Effort to Sell: Consignee will display the goods and attempt to sell them at the sales prices listed in accordance with the consignment form. At the discretion of DW, any merchandise unsold at the end of a three month consignment period will be marked down 10%, where the 10% will come from the Consigner’s cut based on the original retail price.
Ownership: Customer/Consigner will retain ownership of the goods until they are sold.
Risk of Loss: While the goods are in the Consignee’s possession, Customer/Consigner will bear risk of damage and/or loss of the goods.
Proceeds: DW will retain a commission of 40% from sale proceeds where sales tax is included. The remaining proceed balance will be mailed via check on the 15th of each month to include sales from the previous month.
Termination: Consigner or Consignee may terminate this contract at any time. If either party terminates this contract, the Consigner shall assume the responsibility of retrieving and moving the merchandise.
